Small Steps, Big Impact: Our Collaboration with Neuroblastoma Australia

At Leiho, we’ve always believed that it’s the sum of our small actions that leads to big change. This month, we are incredibly proud to announce a collaboration that is very close to our hearts: a partnership with Neuroblastoma Australia.

Neuroblastoma is an aggressive childhood cancer that arises from nerve cells. It is the most common solid tumour found in children under five, and sadly, the survival rate for high-risk cases is only 50%.

Neuroblastoma Australia is the only Australian charity 100% focused on this disease. Their mission focuses on two areas:

• Research: Funding the development of more effective, less toxic treatments so every child can lead a long, healthy life.
• Support: Providing a vital volunteer network that connects parents and carers navigating the complexities of a diagnosis.

The charity’s story is deeply personal. It was founded by Lucy Jones, who turned her own experience with her daughter into a lifelong mission to help other families. Her dedication to raising awareness and funding research is nothing short of inspirational, proving how one person’s journey can spark a movement of hope.

We’ve worked closely with their team to create a pair of socks that represents this journey. Available in cheerful pink and sunny yellow, each pair features the iconic frangipani flower, the beloved symbol of hope in the fight against neuroblastoma childhood cancer.
