Leiho x The Lunch Club - Celebrating 2 Years of Serving Nutritious Mea

There's nothing more heartwarming than good food, great company and giving back, and that's exactly why we partnered with The Lunch Club to serve hot food and drinks to local communities in need around Streatham and beyond.

To mark The Lunch Club's incredible 2 year anniversary, we teamed up to throw a special lunch service for their wonderful community who come together weekly for warmth, nourishment and connection.

We wanted to make sure that everyone felt truly celebrated. Guests enjoyed delicious steak and veggie pies, with plenty of tea, coffee and hot chocolate to go around, and of course lots of birthday cake! It was a feast worth celebrating.

The atmosphere was full of smiles, laughter and community spirit. We welcomed over 70 guests on the day and seeing everyone enjoy their food, prizes and gifts made the day truly special.

We also held a raffle with amazing prizes (from toiletry gift sets to necklaces and clothes), of course this brought plenty of excitement whilst everyone enjoyed their food. Every guest also left with a goodie bag packed with love and thoughtful treats kindly donated from these incredible brands:

TrueStart coffee - barista grade instant coffee sachets
Darling Spuds - delicious sea salt crisps
Rhythm 108 - vegan and gluten free chocolate peanut butter cookies
Soul Kitchen - nutritious instant soup sachets made from real vegetables
Booheads - sustainable bamboo toothbrushes
Beechfield - reusable cotton drawstring tote bags
And of course, we had to sneak in some Leiho bamboo socks

A massive thank you to every brand that contributed to the goodie bags, your kindness helped make the day unforgettable!

And of course we couldn't forget our amazing volunteers! We were joined by 4 incredible volunteers from our Leiho community who helped set up the venue, decorate, pack the gifts, serve the food, chat with guests, and spread the good vibes all day long.

Each volunteer wore The Lunch Club x Leiho t-shirts kindly sponsored by our friends at Print Yard Studio, a small detail that made a big difference in really bringing out that sense of unity and celebration.

And here's some exciting news! We'll be launching these t-shirts on our website very soon. Every purchase will go directly towards supporting The Lunch Club and their weekly lunch services, helping to provide more hot meals and friendly faces for people who need them most.
