OUR ORIGIN
So, what does Leiho mean?
In Hong Kong, you hear “Leiho” everywhere. It’s what the street vendor says as you walk past, what the taxi driver says when you step in and what your relatives say when they greet you.
Word for word, Leiho translates to “you good.” But what it really means is “how are you?”
你
Lei
= You
好
Ho
= Good

Meet the founders
Hi, we’re Joey and Thuta!
We met at uni and started Leiho from our bedrooms in 2019, after finding out that clean socks are one of the most requested items at homeless shelters. So for every pair sold, we gave another to someone in need.
Six years on, that one idea has grown into essentials, workshops and paid employment opportunities with our charity partners across the UK.
Joey Li & Thuta Khin, Co-Founders
To bring warmth and kindness into
your everyday.
Every time you put on a pair of our socks or spot our smiley logo, it’s a little nudge to check in with yourself or someone around you. Because kindness spreads, and it all starts with how we treat ourselves.
Design philosophy
Mountains, city and sea
Our designs are inspired by Hong Kong’s mountains, city and sea because we all need a bit of each.

Mountains
that keep us grounded

City
that gives us energy

Sea
that brings us calm
Every colour and pattern is made to bring that balance into your day, wherever it takes you.
So next time you look down and see that little Leiho face smiling back, pause for a second and ask yourself:
