Who Builds The Future: Our 6 Year Adventure Joins the IKEA Museum exhibition

We are beyond thrilled Leiho has been a part of the “Who Builds The Future?” exhibition at the IKEA Museum in Älmhult, Sweden over the past few months.
Running until August 30th, 2026, this exhibition is a tribute to the visionaries and bold entrepreneurs who find smart solutions to local challenges to make the world a better place.

The exhibition celebrates the incredible journey of IKEA’s founder, Ingvar Kamprad. Starting at just 17 years old, Ingvar began by selling small items like pens and wallets from a garden shed. It wasn't until later that he pivoted to the wooden furniture and flat-pack designs that changed the world.
Ingvar Kamprad has always built a culture around getting it wrong and learning from your mistakes. This "fail forward" mentality is exactly why we feel so honoured to be featured.
Our journey at Leiho has been nothing but learning and growing as we go.
Leiho’s 6-year adventure now sits alongside stories from global leaders in one of the museum’s main sections. Our display showcases our own journey of building a business from scratch. The pivots we’ve made, the impact we’ve driven, and everything we’ve learned along the way.

Just like Ingvar’s early days in the Swedish countryside, Leiho started with a simple desire to solve a problem. Being recognised by a global icon like IKEA is a reminder that no matter how small you start, your ideas can have a massive reach.
If you find yourself in Sweden, come see our story alongside some other global entrepreneurs in person.
